| Many people find it strange that I am apparently scowling in the picture that I opted to place on the back cover of my book. Firstly, let me say that my best friend, Marti Phillips, took that wonderful photo and I simply adore it. We wanted to make sure that the Golden Gate Bridge was in the picture, as my book has a decidedly San Francisco feel to it. Unfortunately, on the day we went to shoot, the sun was unbearably bright and facing the bridge. Try as I might, I could barely keep my eyes open for the picture and smiling with squinty eyes looks weird. Ergo, the scowl. Still, I think the photo turned out, well, sort of sexy. Don't you? |
